Production Team Leader

What you'll be doing

 

As a Production Team Leader Duties will involve:

 

  • Providing a professional, high-quality service to Production following adequate training on specific equipment
  • Being responsible for the setting of production lines in accordance with product standards and specifications
  • Ensuring that all operations on all equipment are performed to a professional, high-quality standard
  • Being responsible for daily/hourly control and direction of a Production line team
  • Coaching and supporting the production line team in the achievement of required target outputs
  • Informing and updating Production Management with regards to line availability
  • Reporting any immediate major Engineering issues to the Line engineering Team for resolution

 

What we’re looking for

 

Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience: 

  • Ideally experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar environment 
  • Experience leading or overseeing a team (direct line management)
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast past, chilled environment
  • Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices
  • Able to manage the team and follow management instructions and procedures
  • Able to liaise and communicate with other departments
  • Basic Awareness of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
