What you’ll be doing
* Develop pricing strategies by analysing key insights to establish recommendations and plans across all channels, formats, packs, and SKUs in the market.
* Formulate revenue management principles and propose pricing models to ensure new platform developments achieve target revenue and contribution.
* Design optimal pack and pricing architectures for new products and ranges to enhance margins.
* Evaluate and recommend improvements in trade terms with key customers to increase net revenue and contribution realization.
* Utilize insights and analytics to drive promotion effectiveness and return on investment by tracking profit, sales, volume, and customer satisfaction, aiming to improve returns for both Greencore and its customers.
* Assist sales teams in key customer negotiations (e.g., contract renewals, inflation adjustments) by leveraging insights and modelling to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
* Lead the annual price review process, addressing labour and other key cost changes by modelling impacts by customer and developing the selling narrative for the sales team.
* Implement an annual SKU optimization process using consumer insights and internal profit and efficiency metrics to drive profitable revenue growth for Greencore and its customers.
* Build and develop the revenue management team, create necessary tools, acquire required data, and enhance revenue management capabilities within the organization through training and upskilling of the wider commercial team.
What we’re looking for
* Proven relationship-building skills and demonstrable ability to drive change and resolve conflict effectively
* Proven experience of success in a Revenue Generation/Management role in a relevant FMCG business
* Knowledge of market dynamics including pricing theories
* Knowledge and understanding of micro and macro-economic impacts on pricing of and demand for consumer goods
* Proven analytical skills and ability to interpret results into realistic plans
* Ability to challenge thinking and processes of peers and leaders
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with an adaptive style for customer interactions and internal colleagues at all levels
* Experienced problem solver, able to identify and rectify problems proactively
