Shift pattern: 5 on 2 off, Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6:30am

Specialist controller role is to support the team leader and hygiene operatives to ensure that all cleaning processes are completed in full and that hygiene standards for a given area are maintained during the production/hygiene shift.

What you'll be doing

• Support training plan and adopting appropriate people practises to enabling them to deliver the master cleaning schedule.
• Support day to day hygiene activities in line with the master schedule to ensure operational integrity.
• Support adoption of amendments to standard operating procedures to ensure change is effectively implemented and improvements are made to functional hygiene performance and safety practises.
• Reporting issues to team leader in timely manner and highlight any damage to the equipment and risks to day-to-day activities.
• Support team compliance with inventory control to facilitate the timely replacement of materials (PPE, Chemicals, consumables etc.)
• Supporting and prompting working environment for colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set in, SHE policy.

What we're looking for

• In Team leader absence able to step up to cover position and communicate with supervisor effectively.
• Ability to step in and deliver in case of planned absences.
• Ability to plan human resources accordingly.
• Support internal/external audits compliance including GMP (BRC, M&S, Environmental)
• Good knowledge and understanding of hygiene procedures and factory environment best practises.
