Here at Bow, we have a team of around 800 colleagues. We produce sandwiches, wraps, platters, sub rolls and salads for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Asda, Morrisons and BP Wild Bean Café.

What you'll be doing

We are looking to recruit a site services engineer to join our site at Bow. 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

Looking after the following site services: 

• Effluent Plant 
• Compressed Air 
• Boilers 
• Pipework & Service distribution 
• Refrigeration Plant 
• Water Supply 
• HVac 

You will form part of the onsite Engineering Team and be reporting to the Site Services Manager. 

Other Responsibilities 

• Be responsible for refurbishments and fabrications work on associated equipment to maintain the overall sites safety, operation, and efficiency. 
• Co-ordinating and supervision of contractors working on site ensuring safe systems of work (SSOW) and permit to work (PTW) adherence. 
• Assisting and implementing of key capital projects. 
• Routine maintenance of critical plant. 

This role is a Monday to Friday, days based position although flexibility will be required to work outside of standard hours if needed.

• Have an understanding and proven track record within facilities maintenance 
• Possess experience of electrical distribution, compressors, boilers, effluent treatment 
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, auditors, senior managers, factory operatives 
• A methodical and logical approach 
• Self-motivated but able to work within a small team
