Job description

Shift Pattern: 

4 on 4 off Days – 6:00pm-6:00am (Shift pattern will include some weekends)

 

Salary: 

£15.18 (plus overtime outside of normal shift pattern)

Contracted Hours:

40.25 hrs per week

What you'll be doing 

  • Sampling, testing, auditing, and monitoring to verify the safe and compliant manufacturing of processes, procedures, and products
  • Conducting verification checks to ensure equipment is properly calibrated according to required standards.
  • Completing all necessary documentation accurately and promptly, ensuring it is readily available for internal and external audits and highlighting when non-conformance requires corrective action.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with the operations team and other relevant functions, keeping them informed about quality assurance activities, results, and trends. Collecting relevant samples in adherence to procedures and protocols to ensure the quality, safety, and legality of the sampled products.
  • Providing education and training to operational staff and other teams to ensure compliance with relevant technical standards.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, meeting or exceeding the safety, health, and environmental policy's set standards.

 

 What we’re looking for

 

  • Health & Safety Level 2 Food Hygiene
  • Level 2 CCP training including HACCP principles for Manufacturing Unit Allergen Awareness Microbiological Awareness
  • Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Diligent
  •  Computer Literate, e-mail, word, excel.
  • Basic Food Micro Awareness
  • Leve 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem solver
  • Drive, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Time management
