Why Greencore?

We are a leading manufacturer of convenience food in the UK and our purpose is to make everyday taste better. We supply all of the major supermarkets in the UK. We also supply convenience and travel retail outlets, discounters, coffee shops, foodservice and other retailers. We have strong market positions in a range of categories including sandwiches, salads, sushi, chilled snacking, chilled ready meals, chilled soups and sauces, chilled quiche, ambient sauces and pickles, and frozen Yorkshire Puddings.

In FY22 we manufactured 795m sandwiches and other food to go products, 127m chilled prepared meals, and 249m bottles of cooking sauces, pickles and condiments. We carry out more than 10,600 direct to store deliveries each day. We have 21 world-class manufacturing units across 16 locations in the UK, with industry-leading technology and supply chain capabilities. We generated revenues of £1.7bn in FY22 and employ approximately 14,000 people.

We work hard to ensure that Greencore is a great place to work and our people truly are at the core. We’re committed to ensuring all our colleagues have development plans and strive to provide inspiring leadership – in fact, in the past year we’ve seen an 11% increase in the number of colleagues who would recommend Greencore as a place to work.

Change Analyst @Greencore

As the Change Analyst, you will be supporting the Group IT team in managing changes to systems and services from end to end (idea through to deployment). You will play a crucial role in guiding and managing the organisational changes necessary for our growth and adaptation, ensuring that these changes are carried out smoothly and effectively.

What you'll be doing:

  • Administering the Change Management process, reviewing requests for change for completeness, chairing CAB meetings, documenting and sharing CAB minutes, scheduling and chairing emergency CABs, overseeing the raising and approval of standard changes, and reporting on CAB progress
  • Support the wider IT function in administering the pre-delivery pipeline of work, to ensure that all work is appropriately defined, documented, reviewed, and approved before being handed over to delivery. This includes chairing and minuting all WIN Process gated checkpoints, and the fortnightly Pipeline meetings
  • Support the Head of IT GRC to make improvements to processes and practices and define new processes where necessary
  • Collate data, analyse and report on the progress of the WIN Pipeline, sharing reports with the IT SLT and wider IT team
  • Train new and existing members of the Group IT team in the WIN and Change processes
  • Administer IT tooling used to manage change, including Jira and the RFC portal, ensuring these tools are used correctly and kept up to date
  • Manage the transfer of operational expenditure (OpEx) into the IT OpEx budget when delivery projects close

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Good analytical skills with a strong ability to analyze data, understand complex processes, and assess the impact of changes on various aspects of the business
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information, influence stakeholders, and facilitate effective change
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, understand their needs, and manage their expectations throughout the change process
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and modify plans to achieve desired outcomes
  • Technical proficiency with change management tools, software, and methodologies
  • Strong ability to organise tasks, prioritise activities, and manage time effectively to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs to support our people in adapting to new systems and processes

What you’ll get in return

  • Competitive salary and job-related benefits
  • 25 days holiday plus bank
  • Pension up to 8% matched
  • Company share save scheme
  • Greencore Qualifications
  • Exclusive Greencore employee discount platform
  • Access to a full Wellbeing Centre platform

Throughout your time at Greencore, you will be supported with on-the-job training and development opportunities to further your career.
