Here at Bow, we have a team of around 800 colleagues. We produce sandwiches, wraps, platters, sub rolls and baguettes for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Asda, Morrisons.

What you'll be doing

To manage the day-to-day operation of packaging/ depositing machines in Production on a shift basis. To assist the Line Leader to achieve operational KPI’s and drive continuous improvement. 

Key Activities

 § Label checking at start and finish of each reel, also checking for correct information. 

 § Complete label/line check sheets to ensure conformity and standard  

§ Feed labels/ films onto machines 

 § Ensure complete preparation of the machine prior to the start of shift 

 § Check quality of packaging/ skillets  

§ Complete regular metal detector tests 

 § Liaise with engineers about machine efficiency. 

 § Maintain line efficiency at or exceeding planned line speed.  

§ Maintain hygiene and good housekeeping.  

§ Complete fast change overs 

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday; 6 am – depends on the finish plan.
