What you'll be doing:

 

We’re looking for hardworking, enthusiastic team players whose approach to work is characterised to succeed and who will therefore join our passionate and driven team.

 

Key activities:

 

To ensure the plant and machinery are cleaned according to the Hygiene Instruction Cards. 

Work closely with the Hygiene Supervisor/ Team Leaders and the Management team to make improvements and promote the Hygiene Department within the company. 

Completion of cleaning schedule documentation as required in a clear, accurate and legible manner. 

Use all chemicals appropriately and safely according to the COSHH regulations. 

Deep cleaning of relevant areas following the cleaning schedule, as and when required. 

Ensure all cleaning equipment is well maintained and reporting any faults to your manager promptly. 

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and housekeeping at all times. 

Report problems or issues as they arise, which may impact on product quality, Production/Hygiene activities and environmental issues. 

Ensure Health & Safety procedures, Quality/Hygiene standards and Company Rules/Procedures are always adhered to. 

Keeping the internal and external areas of the factory clean and tidy

What we are looking for:

Experience working in a role involving manual handling desired.

On the job training will be provided to effectively clean equipment/ machines Experience of working in a food production environment is desired, but not always essential.

Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

 

Shift Pattern:

 

Sunday to Thursday. From 7 am to 7pm.
