We have a great opportunity for an experienced and senior Demand Manager to join our Central Functions Supply Chain team in Worksop. 

 

Role Purpose 

 

To provide leadership and direction to a team responsible for short term Demand Planning for the majority of UK supermarkets, driving accuracy and responding to dynamic changing consumer needs 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the short term Demand Planning process for your team to ensure accurate forecasting whilst engaging with the Commercial and Operational functions 
  • Manage and develop your team to support their growth and delivery of supply chain metrics and business plans 
  • Ongoing management & analysis of customer KPI’s to maximise sales & availability whilst balancing waste & efficiency in the supply chain, strongly collaborating with customers 
  • Ensure consistency and alignment across the Demand Planning team, jointly working with other Demand Managers to drive an efficient and standardized process 
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to optimise performance and drive long term growth 

What we’re looking for 

  • Ideally qualified to degree level 
  • Proven track record in managing supply / demand processes 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, internally and externally, with experience working closely with customers 
  • Experience of working in a dynamic fast paced, growth industry or business 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work on own initiative 
  • Statistical knowledge and problem solving skills
